THE BIGGER PICTURE
Henrique played a key role in securing a Champions League spot for the Ligue 1 club. The 23-year-old winger featured in 35 matches across all competitions, providing nine goals and 10 assists. However, things weren’t entirely smooth behind the scenes. Reports emerged of a rift between Mason Greenwood, Henrique, and the Marseille management. While Sporting Director Mehdi Benatia publicly dismissed the claims, tensions spilled over to the stands as fans displayed banners reading 'Greenwood Henrique, bougez vous!' ('Greenwood, Henrique, get moving!').

TELL ME MORE
Former Manchester United starlet Greenwood, who was reportedly involved in the dressing room tensions, has dismissed rumours suggesting he wanted to leave Marseille. After securing a Champions League spot, the forward said: "I hope to be here next year for the Champions League. All the other players tell me the stadium is something special. I think it's been a very positive season. We've reached our objective."
Greenwood added: "Not a lot of people get to experience that kind of thing here. With all my teammates and coaches, I would like to thank them all."
